ReedSource, LLC (“ReedSource,” “we,” “us”) runs reedsourcellc.com. We collect very little information, we never sell it, and we protect it the way we'd protect a client's environment. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
- Booking information. When you book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly. Calendly collects the details you enter (such as your name, email, and meeting notes) under its own privacy policy.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider, Netlify, may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running. We do not run separate analytics or tracking tools.
We do not ask for, and you should not send through this website, passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive data. If an engagement requires sensitive information, we'll arrange a secure way to share it.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule calls
- Provide services you've engaged us for
- Keep the website secure and working
- Meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (such as our scheduling, email, and hosting providers), and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information if required by law. If you engage us for a project, how we handle your business and client data is governed by our written agreement with you.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to function. Calendly may set its own cookies when you use its booking pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails and form messages for as long as needed to respond and maintain business records, typically no more than two years unless you become a client. Client records are kept as required by our agreement and applicable law.
How we protect it
Security is our core business. We use multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, and encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify you if a breach affects it, as required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@reedsourcellc.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above.
